We are an I – Jan Jensen. Jan Jensen Art exists to offer representations and information about my art practice and artworks for sale.
I collect and store only the data I need to provide you with any goods you buy from Jan Jensen Art. It is not shared with anyone ever. Your data is YOUR DATA.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Cookies
Yes, Jan Jensen Art uses cookies because that’s how the internet works.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, a temporary cookie is set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, Jan Jensen Art will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
You can block cookies on your browser if you don’t like them. However, some things may not load properly. Please don’t ask me why/how – I barely know what a cookie is.
Tracking
I have a Google Analytics account but have not yet set it up. It probably will be in the future.
These tracking programs are used to follow visits and clicks, so I can see what you are most interested in. I may or may not then adjust my content. I say ‘may not’ because sometimes I just have to share what moves me …. Then I’ll go back to the things that you like best.
These programs don’t store any personal data. They probably do have your IP address, though. Jan Jensen Art does not.
Deleting Information
All you have to do to have your information (email & name) deleted is email me at Jan@JanJensenTLC.com and I will do that as soon as I can.
This website uses WooCommerce and PayPal to process purchases. These are highly encrypted programs with good reps. I chose these companies exactly so I wouldn’t be responsible for guarding your financial information. You will have to contact them if you want to delete that type of information.
Social Media
Jan Jensen Art is active on Facebook and Instagram, partly to promote offerings and partly to connect with friends and like-minded creative people. You are not required to follow or like anything. You can if you want.
As passionate as I am about creative expression, I am equally unpassionate about the technological aspects of internet connections of any kind. I have carefully researched so that Jan Jensen Art has the least information possible. I happily allow the hugest companies with the best resources to protect my privacy and yours.
