As We Traverse harkens back to many ferry and barge trips along the west coast of BC. The changing land and seascapes, the forms that are not what they seem at first glance – are a couple of metaphors that I’m playing with in this piece. I invite you to find some of your own.
The colour palette of this painting echoes my experiences in this powerful ecosystem.
