This piece is from "Winged", a series of works produced in 2022 as I resumed engagement with a world both same and different from the world I experienced before the pandemic shutdown. The series explores both loss and rebirth, grief and celebration, depression and joy - the many many layers of personal experience in our our complex world. My optimistic outlook and search for resilience led to these multicoloured pieces of hope.
